Welcome.
This toolkit contains a plethora of knowledge and best practice advice
for planning a successful library vote. It was developed based on the
insight and experience of over fifty library administrators and advocates
in the Mid-Hudson Library System, across New York State, and around the
U.S. Use the resources available to customize your own public vote approach.
They are certain to simplify and stimulate your campaign plans. This toolkit was created
as part of the 2005-2007 Getting
to Yes (GTY) Grant Project. GTY was funded by Federal Library
Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library
by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services. |
