Passionate about gardening or just want to enjoy it as a hobby? Use the library's online catalog* to unearth books or magazines on any garden-related topic. Here are some areas to get you started, but you can always do your own search or contact the library for additional help.

Check out the library's databases, which offer you free access to popular magazines and newspapers. You can use them from your home computer, 24 hours a day-7 days a week. A few magazines that might pique your interest include:

  • Good Housekeeping
  • Town and Country
  • Organic Gardening
  • Yard and Garden
  • Today's Gardening Center

To find these magazines, go to your local library's home page, click on HomeAccess, type in the 14 digit barcode from your library card, select Proquest & search by Publication.)

*Better Homes and Gardens is available through the EBSCOhost database.

You'll need a library card in order to use the databases or borrow library materials. You can get one for free by stopping in your local library.
